My clients had very specific criteria for this built-in desk unit. The room had to function as a home office, but then transform into a guest bedroom. With a pullout couch on the opposite wall, my clients wanted the knee spaces for the his and her desk to close and store other items they wanted out of view when used as a guest room. The desk spaces needed to close, as well, to hide the clutter of a home office.
